Aneesa, leaves her home in Lebanon after the death of her brother and moves to London seeking a new life.
She meets another 'exile' and they share thoughts of their homeland as they form an unlikely friendship. Eventually she returns home to help find out about the disappearance of her brother and to be with her mother who is still grieving.
